Live Remote Proctoring Introduction
In addition to the ability to test either on-campus or at one of our hundreds of testing centers, NBSTSA is now offering Live Remote Proctoring (LRP) through our partner, PSI Exams. They’ve set up a seamless process for our online scheduling and equipment testing, so you can take your exam safely and securely from home or another secure location.
LRP Basics:
- Perform your System Check
- Log-in from the comfort of your home or office at your assigned examination time
- Verify your identity with the proctor
- Complete your Online Proctored exam
While LRP is a convenient option, not everyone may meet the technical requirements to test at home.
Technical Requirements
There are minimum requirements for Operating System, Screen Resolution, Bandwidth and Hardware (Camera and Mic).

Please note: It is very important that you use the links above to test your system prior to the day of your test, to ensure that you don't have problems that would keep you from being able to complete the examination on test day.
Technical Support and Login Help
If you are using your work computer, please notify your IT department to review any security and privacy settings/restrictions in place. You may need to seek permission to lift or relax these settings in order to take your exam online.
